Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR)

The design of a Weld Procedure provides assurance of quality and safety to the welded item. The function of Weld Procedure design incorporates empirical materials science, production efficiencies, and quality. The documented record of a weld design is known as the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR, WPQR). A technical review of Welding Procedure documents is essential to ensure the design is compliant to WHS and Industry Standards.

WELDER QUALIFICATION TESTING (WQT)

The Weld Procedure is fundamental to the Qualification of Welders as legislation and most business owners require that welders are qualified to the welding procedures being applied. Our Training Center (AWNC) is able to provide advanced skills training and qualification to welders unfamiliar with particular techniques, or just a bit rusty.
